Advanced Filtration & Material Composition
- The facemask is made up of two layers of combined ES (Ethylene Propylene Side by Side) material and an inner or middle layer of MBPP (Meltblown Polypropylene) material.
- Specifically, the inner and outer materials consist of 19 gsm ES, while the middle layer consists of 18 gsm MBPP.
- This 3-layer construction delivers excellent performance, featuring a Bacterial Filtration Efficiency (3.0um) of 99.00% and a Particle Filtration Efficiency (0.1um) of 99.10%.
- A coated metal or plastic strip acts as a nose piece to keep the mask secure when worn.
Contamination Control & Sterile Options
Loop bands are made of Opelon (OP) material and are offered with a choice of ear loop or head loop.
These loop bands are ultrasonic-bonded, ensuring a cleaner mask by significantly reducing contamination and outgassing.
For highly critical pharmaceutical environments, the mask is available in a sterile option.
The sterile variants are Gamma irradiated to a Sterility Assurance Level (SAL) of 10⁻⁶.
To maintain absolute integrity prior to use, both sterile and non-sterile configurations feature solvent-free and cleanroom double-bagged packaging.
